About the Opportunity
Own how Jerry reimagines auto repair and maintenance — a space ready for a clearer, more trusted experience. As a Sr. Product Manager on our GarageGuard team, you won't just be optimizing flows, you'll bring consumer-grade clarity and guidance to moments that matter: when an engine light turns on, an unexpected noise appears, or maintenance is due. You’ll shape how drivers discover, diagnose, and resolve car issues through GarageGuard, including experiences like diagnostics, recall & maintenance alerts, shop finder, repair estimates, car value, and a digital glovebox. You will partner closely with engineering, data science, design, and research to solve tangible problems and build features that are truly impactful. You will have a direct and significant impact on how people feel about caring for their cars — and on our path to becoming a $10B business.
What You Will Do
Drive measurable gains in engagement and user onboarding across GarageGuard’s core offerings by crafting friction-free, polished experiences.
Ship 0→1 features to modernize auto care for the average driver.
Uncover key opportunities to increase trust through deep-dive analyses and a first-principles understanding of user behavior.
Thoughtfully employ the latest AI technology to make GarageGuard faster, clearer, and more helpful.
Map end-to-end journeys (from symptom triage to booking a shop) to identify moments of confusion, anxiety, or drop-off.
Conduct insightful user research (qualitative and quantitative), rapidly prototype with Design, and translate findings into elegant, shippable solutions; validate with A/B tests and usability studies.
Set a high UX quality bar (clarity, speed, consistency) and partner with Engineering and Design to instrument, measure, and iterate.
Who You Are
Proven consumer product manager: 5+ years in consumer tech delivering meaningful impact, with experience partnering with Product Design/Research and shipping consumer-grade polish on mobile or web.
Creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity with innovative solutions.
Tenacious with strong ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Customer-obsessed with product taste and strong empathy for consumer needs, plus refined UI/UX craft.
Data-driven and decisive: comfortable with data, able to make informed decisions even with limited information.
Super organized and execution-focused: can manage complex projects and collaborate across diverse teams to deliver results.
Detail-oriented and quality-minded: focus on clear error handling, accessibility, and edge cases; ensure work is well-supported and measurable.
Preferred Experience
Comfortable with rigorous analyses, developing insightful hypotheses, and validating their impact on key metrics.
Bonus points if you’ve navigated the startup environment.
