Lead Platform Engineer, Workday (Workday Security) The Workday Security Platform Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect Capital One HR Workday environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Workday applications and data. The WD Security Engineer will act as a subject matter expert in Workday security, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise. Responsibilities

Security Implementation: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment. Ensure security configurations and integrations are robust and effective. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and SOX audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the Workday environment. Collaborate with the risk management team to develop and implement mitigation strategies. Access Management: Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users. Regularly review and update access permissions to maintain compliance and security. Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment. Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts. Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, and other business units to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes. Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the security posture of the Workday environment. SOX Compliance: Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning as intended. Prepare documentation and evidence to demonstrate compliance with SOX requirements. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At Least 6 years of experience in Information Security At least 5 years of experience in Workday Security At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree 7+ years of experience in Workday security administration 2+ years of experience configuring SSO with Workday using SAML 2.0 and integrating with enterprise IdPs Workday Pro Certification in Security 1+ years of experience with Workday Extend, Workday Prism, or Workday Financials security models 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service 2+ years of experience in Agile practices Additional Information At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization). Compensation and Benefits

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are for candidates hired to work within one of these locations. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours. Location-specific ranges: Cambridge, MA: $158,400 - $180,800; Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $164,400; McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800; New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200; Plano, TX: $144,000 - $164,400; Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400; San Francisco, CA: $172,800 - $197,200; San Jose, CA: $172,800 - $197,200. Candidates hired in other locations will receive the pay range for that location; the actual offer will be in the offer letter. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
