Analytica is seeking a
Senior Data Architect
to lead a high-profile data management program supporting analytics for a federal government agency. The ideal candidate should have large-scale data architecture, governance and management experience with architecting Azure and AWS cloud data services for Enterprise Analytics. The candidate needs to be a US Citizen with a SECRET clearance or the ability to secure a SECRET clearance. The role may be Hybrid, either in the DC Metro region or potentially remote with periodic travel for meetings. About Analytica

Lead data architecture and design for implementing data architecture frameworks that enhance the federal government’s ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.
Architect data flows, data marts, semantic layers, and ETL pipelines in support of downstream measures in a star schema environment.
Define and implement data architecture standards, frameworks and guidelines to ensure data platform efficiency and high quality data for gaining insights / downstream consumptions.
Lead the creation of data models to standardize data definitions, relationships and semantics across systems.
Collaborate daily with data engineers, data modelers and Python developers on a daily basis.
Design scalable architectures that integrate various data sources, systems, and platforms while minimizing duplication.
Obtain client approval of designs and plans in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
Facilitate Data Integration by integrating diverse data sources into unified structures, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.
Support governance by assisting in defining and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with organizational goals.
Enhance interoperability by defining well-structured data and information exchanges.
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, security standards, and mission-critical objectives.
Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, processes, and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or related roles.
Proven experience in architecting, management and evolving a hybrid enterprise data environment for analytics using Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Athena for high-volume data and analytics products.
Familiarity with data operations tools and languages, such as Python.
Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including developing conceptual and logical data models.
Strong knowledge of SQL, metadata management, and data integration processes.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Must possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance.
