Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation - Education Law. Our office is located five minutes from the Pacific Ocean in the Manhattan Beach area. Hybrid work opportunity. We are a rapidly growing firm seeking an Associate Attorney who is passionate about helping clients and who will provide outstanding representation. We pursue successful results through negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trials in both California and Federal courts. Are you a Litigation Associate (with one to five years of experience) looking to grow? Do you have Education Law experience, or wish to grow professionally in this expanding area of practice? Required Skills
Experienced with Legal case management software and CRM systems Punctual and Professional Highly Organized Independent and Productive Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook Stellar Communication Skills: Listening, Speaking, and Writing Warm, Empathetic and Caring Team Player, Adaptable Positive Attitude with high energy
Primary Responsibilities
Overall execution of client cases Draft pleadings Meet and correspond with client Meet and correspond with opposing counsel Maintain client files Advise client on legal options for litigation and/or settlement Prepare clients for hearings and depositions Draft and respond to Discovery Draft and oppose motions Represent clients in litigation hearings Meet statutory deadlines
