Position Summary
The Junior Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys and partners to handle insurance defense cases from inception to resolution. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or attorney with 0–3 years of litigation experience who wants to build a strong foundation in insurance defense work. Key Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of case management, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant issues. Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials under supervision. Review and analyze case files, insurance policies, and evidence. Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts in a professional manner. Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategy development. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in CA (or awaiting bar results). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. Previous experience or internship in litigation, insurance defense, or related areas preferred but not required. Why Join Us?
