What You'll Do

Leadership & Strategy

Design and implement HR strategies that support EVG's long-term growth strategy

Partner closely with hospital leaders to align workforce planning, succession management, and organizational design

Provide coaching and guidance to managers, helping them strengthen leadership skills and build engaged, high-performing teams

Lead and champion change management initiatives that improve processes, culture, and overall employee experience

Team & People Management

Manage and mentor HR partners at the hospital level, ensuring consistent and effective support across the network

Set clear performance expectations for the HR team, monitor progress, and foster professional development

Build a collaborative, high-performing HR function that is trusted by employees and leadership alike

Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, handling issues with fairness, discretion, and empathy

Lead engagement surveys and develop action plans that strengthen workplace culture and employee satisfaction

Create and roll out recognition and reward programs that celebrate contributions and drive retention

Performance & Development

Oversee the full performance management cycle, ensuring employees have clear goals and growth pathways

Partner with leadership to identify training needs and build targeted learning and development programs

Support succession planning initiatives that prepare EVG for long-term success

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure HR policies, practices, and documentation comply with employment laws, OSHA, and healthcare safety requirements

Maintain and update employee handbooks, regulatory documentation, and compliance training

Conduct HR audits and proactively address areas of risk, protecting both employees and the organization

What We're Looking For

5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years of leadership experience

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills

Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership in a dynamic, growing organization

SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar professional certification

Experience in veterinary medicine or healthcare is strongly preferred

Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone

US Pay Range $90,000—$100,000 USD
