Financial Services - Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - Tax Manager. Tax Services Manager – Financial Services Office – Customer Tax Operations and Reporting Services (CTORS). EY focuses on information reporting and withholding matters within US tax and supports clients across banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, real estate, hospitality and construction sectors. You will work with colleagues to help clients understand tax rules and implement changes to their operations, processes and systems. The CTORS team handles information reporting and withholding engagements involving non-resident alien (NRA) withholding, FATCA, CRS, and related reporting matters. The opportunity
Our Business Tax Advisory practice focuses on US tax information reporting and withholding engagements. You will work on engagements across financial services sectors, with opportunities to contribute to data analysis, requirements development, documentation, and process improvement. You will also have opportunities to contribute to technology solutions and staff development within remote delivery centers. Your Key Responsibilities
Interface daily with superiors, peers and clients on CTORS projects Interpret IRS Code and Regulations, draft guidance, perform data analysis and develop requirements Conduct gap analyses of clients’ policies, procedures and systems and write business requirements Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts Engage in technical analysis, process improvement and responses to client requests for proposals Support development of innovative technology solutions and train/manage staff located in remote delivery centers Skills And Attributes For Success
Ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions Strong writing skills for policy and procedure documentation Ability to interface with all facets of the business Ability to multitask and manage projects Creative problem solving and strong critical thinking Ability to contribute as both an individual and a team member Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; JD, LLM in Taxation, and/or MST preferred A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience Licensed attorney, CPA, PMP, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification, or membership in a professional tax Institute, or ability to obtain one of these designations Ideal candidate
Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB Ability to understand and implement tax rules Interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapters 3, 4 and 61 or related experience What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges: $129,500 to $237,500 (US locations); $155,400 to $269,800 for NYC Metro Area, WA, and CA (excluding Sacramento).
