Large & Complex Casualty Senior Broker Brokers oversee day-to-day placement and broking responsibilities for our largest and most complex accounts. Brokers are expected to meaningfully contribute to our vertical by supporting new business opportunities; developing business relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and markets; leading negotiations with underwriters regarding coverage terms, conditions and pricing on new and existing programs; evaluating quotes and preparing marketing reports; managing pro-forma analysis information and distribution; assisting in the development and deployment of industry-specific products and resources; and performing other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

Manages brokerage responsibilities for a book of new and recurring casualty exposures

Leads broking communication efforts with underwriters and client teams

Obtains and distributes information from client and/or client management teams

Assists on or leads front end sales/RFP efforts

Prepares/oversees creation of proposals, submissions and quotes

Designs and prepares analytics/modeling material for clients in support of premium, collateral and/or program structure objectives for each renewal

Reviews binders for accuracy and completeness

Sorts and distributes work assignments for developing brokers

Maintains and develops business relationships with WILLIS Client Advocates, Producers and senior underwriting contacts

Curates knowledge of the client’s industry, insurance carriers and their business practices

Participates in continuing education to maintain licensure and industry credentials

Qualifications

The Requirements

Insurance broker’s P&C license

Risk Management/Insurance degree preferred

8-10 years of experience preferred

Large account loss sensitive experience

Casualty coverage fluency

Ability to negotiate collateral with an understanding of loss development and credit risk

Demonstrated knowledge of core insurance principles & ability to articulate such knowledge to clients

Demonstrated excellence in negotiation skills and influence skills are critical

Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and selling skills are a plus

Attention to detail and process orientation

Strong ability to deploy the full capabilities of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint

Understanding of required placement workflows

Self-starter/requires minimal supervision

Will seek guidance when needed

Solid presentation skills-written or oral

Enhancing client service skills

Ability to deal with difficult client situations

Demonstrates knowledge of insurance structures

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only). Compensation The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $130,000– $178,500 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus. Company Benefits
