Responsibilities
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects, ensuring seamless multi-channel solutions
Drive new business development and manage existing client relationships
Mentor, manage, and develop staff, setting objectives and conducting performance reviews
Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networks and new business contacts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top-tier reporters and successfully positioning subject matter with the media
Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online communications media
Experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record in social media influencer engagement and content campaign management
Innovative thinker with experience translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
Experience in setting up measurement programs to evaluate the ROI of communications activities
