Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) Creative Marketing for Sony Pictures Television Studios (SPTS). This newly created role will lead the creative marketing team (following an internal agency model: creative / social, production, design and operations) within SPTS. Reporting to the EVP Franchise Management, the SVP will shape and elevate the brand vision, voice, and strategy for all SPTS IP, work closely with streaming and linear partners to influence and represent the studio marketing input on platform launch campaigns and activations, and build a best-in-class studio marketing team by resourcing internal and external talent, refining workflows, creating efficiencies, and leading the creative, vision, strategy, and execution for all SPTS titles. The SVP will collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to advance the studio brand and IP across platforms and initiatives. The ideal candidate maintains a passion for all television content, stays on the pulse of pop culture and social trends in design, marketing and advertising, and is a strategic storyteller capable of advancing the business through creative leadership and engaging with fans across existing platforms and new channels. Responsibilities

Evolve a team of 15+ marketing leads across marketing operations, production, creative design, video/social production, event activations, and other marketing areas into a high-performing group capable of overseeing 20+ active series spanning live action, animation, and kids content. Strategize, ideate, and execute 360 marketing campaigns and branding initiatives for television-driven IP, focusing on adult-targeted series premiering across major streaming platforms. Develop strong relationships with streaming and linear partners to demonstrate the value of studio marketing within the content ecosystem. Pivot the team to a social-first marketing organization, cultivating fandom through social platforms, creative formats, influencer programs, and other high-ROI initiatives, with efficient content capture and original content production capabilities. Create an efficient marketing operations team, implementing processes across on-set shoots, approvals, project management, and asset management, leveraging software and technology to drive efficiencies. Balance internal and external resources to maximize budgets while driving innovation. Lead creative on all event activations (e.g., San Diego Comic-Con). Support the Franchise Management team in elevating series IP to revenue-generating businesses by creating content strategies that sustain IP between seasons. Develop a team with the right priorities, capabilities, systems, and workflows to ensure a collaborative environment. Seasoned creative television/streaming marketing division head with 15+ years of experience leading a team across creative, production, and operations in an agency-type environment, capable of balancing internal and external resources to deliver on-time and on-budget. Demonstrated success creating the creative vision for successful streaming campaigns for adult-targeted series, steering strategy and execution of all elements such as key art, trailers, social content, activations, etc. (Streaming campaign experience required). Ability to work across multiple genres (live-action drama, comedy, animation, kids) in an entrepreneurial environment with proactive initiative and follow-through. Proven experience collaborating with producers, creators, and actors; strong negotiation and influence of creative differences. Adept at creative/business strategy and modeling with strong knowledge of global asset management (pipeline, workflow, distribution, analytics) with a mindset to test new AI platforms and track ROI. Experience implementing analytics and research to evaluate and adapt campaigns in a dynamic industry. Deep knowledge of artistic talent and ability to leverage global industry relationships to set the highest creative standards; experience launching and managing social studio and 360 campaigns around originals with demonstrated campaign experience across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Experience running marketing operations including project management tools, approval systems, asset management, on-set producers, international crews, and unions issues. Proven track record in shifting corporate culture, inspiring and mentoring executives and staff, and forging a path to growth through a brand lens. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Fine Art, Film, or equivalent experience. Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $255K to $330K. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors including qualifications, relevant experience, education, certifications, and location. Equal Opportunity
