Overview

Provides centralized timekeeping for nursing units and approves timecards at the close of each pay period. Performs tasks related to accurate recording, editing and maintenance of timekeeping and payroll records for caregivers. Creates and maintains nursing unit monthly staff schedules, approving PTO, staff shift trades and assignment of extra shifts in accordance with labor laws, contracts and Providence policies. Provides support to nursing units and Staffing Specialists by updating and monitoring daily schedules, assuring appropriate distribution of staff by producing a balanced monthly unit staffing schedule and arranging for supplemental staffing for nursing units. Acts as Kronos support for PRMCE, producing reports for nursing leadership as requested. Maintain centralized timekeeping for nursing units and approve timecards at pay periods closing. Edit and maintain timekeeping and payroll records for caregivers. Create and maintain monthly nursing unit staff schedules; approve PTO, trades, and assignment of extra shifts in compliance with labor laws, contracts, and Providence policies. Update and monitor daily schedules; ensure balanced monthly staffing distribution and arrange supplemental staffing as needed. Provide Kronos support for PRMCE and produce reports for nursing leadership as requested. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree in business, finance, informatics, HR or related field, or equivalent education/experience. Minimum one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of experience using a complex automated time and attendance system, or equivalent combination of education and timekeeping experience. One year of experience in a related field. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, informatics, HR or related degree. One year of experience as a Timekeeper or Nursing Staff Scheduler. Why Join Providence?

The base pay range for this role is $26.30 to $40.25 per hour.
