Manager, Software Engineering, ConnectivityMeta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a leader in the tech industry, we are looking for someone who can drive innovation, collaboration, and technical proven experience.Manager, Software Engineering, Connectivity Responsibilities* Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and proven experience* Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives* Foster a work environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvementMinimum Qualifications* Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers* 12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical management* BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience* 2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teamsPreferred Qualifications* Demonstrated expertise in mobile application development (Android and/or iOS)* Demonstrated understanding of software development best practices, including design, testing, and deployment* Proven communication, leadership, and organizational skills* Experience building and scaling connectivity layers or networking stacks for mobile platforms* In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, and NFC* Track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software in a time-sensitive environment* Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product and design stakeholders* Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talentFor those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click
