Overview
Our client, a $120+ billion alternative asset manager, is seeking a marketing material compliance professional to join their legal and compliance team. Location:
Greenwich, CT (3 days/week in office) Compensation
Base pay range:
$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Compensation:
$150K-$175K base + bonus Responsibilities
Review marketing materials, due diligence responses, investor communications and other fundraising and reporting related materials across various investment strategies to ensure compliance with the Investment Advisers Act marketing rules (“the new marketing rule”) and regulatory and compliance requirements associated with marketing and sales in non-U.S. jurisdictions. Partner with the IR team to draft and review investor due diligence questionnaires and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Lead research on emerging marketing compliance issues and regulations, developing new initiatives and updating policies and procedures to reflect changing regulatory landscapes. Ensure the firm’s readiness for SEC marketing compliance reviews or sweeps, ensuring that all documentation and practices are up to date. Mentor and develop mid-level and junior compliance associates, fostering a learning environment and ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the compliance team. Qualifications
5+ years of prior experience with private fund marketing or distribution compliance. Experience in marketing and investor relations compliance, with a solid understanding of SEC regulations and marketing rules. Solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on the firm’s overall goals, collaborating with internal teams to meet objectives. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, including coordinating with external compliance consultants and the IR team.
