Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Auditor to assist district legal staff through medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, financial damages, statistical sampling, and ability-to-pay analyses, supporting investigations, prosecutions, settlements, and recovery efforts. Analyze complex personal and business financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, money flows, assets, sources and uses of cash, and quantification of damages. Analyze and calculate ability-to-pay settlements and judgments, including debt covenants, borrowing capacity, adjusted earnings and earnings per share, financial ratios, accounts receivable/payable, aging, tax considerations, assess collectability, and develop payment terms. Identify, quantify, and understand related party transactions. Analyze healthcare claims and other data; create financial damage models for use in litigation. Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction; develop computerized models to present financial evidence. Report on financial data and evidence; communicate findings to attorneys and investigators. Review defense presentations, expert reports, and arguments; work with independent experts; prepare expert reports for litigation. Participate in negotiations as requested; testify as required; perform training and provide presentations on data analysis tools and experience. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic financial accounting, litigation consulting, and/or health care fraud analysis. Clear understanding of rules of evidence and civil procedures, admissibility of evidence, and known elements of investigations; ability to support criminal and civil investigations. Preferred
Experience preparing expert reports and trial preparation; CPA preferred. Certified Fraud Examiner preferred. Salary and Employment Details
