One of our clients in the Washington, D.C needs a Business Financial Manager for a permanent position. Location to note: Washington, D.C (Mostly remote). Travel: None anticipated. Position

Business Financial Manager Location: Washington, D.C (Mostly remote) Travel: None anticipated Responsibilities

Support the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Health (ARPA-H) Resilient Systems Office (RSO) and Proactive Health Office (PHO) by developing budgets for health research programs. Manage programmatic financial operations and ensuring the financial health of the program. Oversee financial planning and analysis, budget management, and financial compliance to support the agency’s mission-driven initiatives and projects. Provide comprehensive programmatic, financial, and administrative support to PHO programs, including but not limited to: financial tracking, analysis and reporting, budget preparation and management of project-specific budgets. Monitor and report on variances, implement corrective actions as needed to ensure financial sustainability, track deliverables and milestones. Manage program and project planning and proactively keep open communication within the team. Required Experience

At least 3 years of support on a SETA contract with a Government Research agency (ARPA-H, DARPA, ONR, R&E, AFRL, etc.) with preference given to the ARPAs Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining financial budgets and tracking technical and financial milestones Experience in creating and coordinating budget and acquisition funding documents and has knowledge/competence in analysis is required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks, including briefing support and general administration Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and federal regulations Preferred Experience

Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) ARPA experience Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating small meetings Ability to operate well in a group dynamic, think creatively and critically, and has a fundamental understanding of government budgeting and a fundamental understanding of government contracting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills How to apply
