Role Associate Consultant, Business Unit Control

Major Duties

Reviews client files for conformance with applicable AML policies, procedures and regulatory requirements for new Wealth Management account openings and collaborates with front office teams to facilitate queries.

Provides support and functional knowledge related to compliance with applicable AML laws, rules and standards.

Identifies and escalates regulatory compliance risks to Global AML management based on completed file reviews.

Carries out business-related activities to support Global AML Compliance guidelines.

Provides support as requested by Global AML Management to resolve compliance issues, including actions in response to regulatory exam and audit findings.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments.

Summarizes and communicates testing results clearly and concisely.

Knowledge/Skills

Expanded conceptual knowledge in own job discipline and understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work.

Ability to explain complex information in straightforward terms.

Knowledge of Financial Institution Regulatory and Compliance areas including AML, CIP, EDD, KYC, and Economic Sanctions, usually acquired through formal education or experience.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to analyze and summarize information.

Analytical skills to identify exceptions to policies and procedures.

Strong written communication skills to document work and summarize findings.

Organizational skills to coordinate compliance tasks.

General knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.

Ability to exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and verify understanding.

Hybrid We have a balanced hybrid working model. The successful candidate will work a traditional five-day work week, spending at least three days in the office per week, with non-office days from home.

Salary Range: $61,500 - $98,300 USD

Salary range is provided as a good faith estimate of base pay.
