Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 + month contract position. Description: Seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer Consultant. Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. Design, construct, test, implement and optimize infrastructure systems Investigate and resolve level 1 problem on network infrastructure hardware Utilize standard tools to analyze, identify, and resolve technical problems Serve as an escalation point for level 1 problem or incident management Analyze performance problems and recommends solutions to enhance functionality, reliability, and/or usability Serve as a liaison between the customer, suppliers, and other technical groups to resolve problems Perform high level analysis of complex network system integrations Apply specialized knowledge in network infrastructure to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement, and optimize network infrastructure Lead teams to provide advanced design, architecture and diagnostic support Responsible for the design, configuration, development, integration, implementation of network solutions Combine a good understanding of IT with a considerable knowledge of industry, business function, or service offering in the engagement Qualifications
