Overview

The Program Director leads strategic initiatives to enhance the direct care provider workforce. This role is responsible for high-level planning, stakeholder engagement, and work plan alignment to meet regulator expectations and support workforce development goals. It implements and monitors the direct care provider Workforce Development Plan from inception through delivery, engages and oversees the work of external vendors, providers, professional provider associations and community-based partners. It requires strong management and leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, the ability to drive structure and organization, and extensive knowledge of direct care provider workforce development, relationship management, and community/stakeholder engagement. The role must assimilate information quickly, make informed decisions, think analytically, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, handle multiple priorities and ambiguity, oversee strategic and operational programs, and manage strategic relationships with internal and external partners including state agencies. Job Duties / Essential Job Functions

Manages programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP as needed Develop, implement and measure performance of the Provider Workforce Development Plan Supports strategic planning and executes workforce initiatives Engages with internal and external stakeholders, including state agencies, community partners, professional provider associations and network providers Aligns workforce development efforts with organizational goals and Molina’s stated commitments Supervises the Provider Workforce Program Manager Engages with all program stakeholders to gather customer input and feedback with a focus on continuous program improvement Measures, monitors and reports on workforce outcomes and impact Represents Molina in workforce-related forums and discussions; escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to AVP, VP and senior management Acts in a consultative role, develops business case methodologies for workforce programs, and coordinates implementation of business strategy Collaborates and facilitates activities with other units at corporate and Molina Plans as needed Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

7-9 years in workforce development, stakeholder engagement, provider relations, relationship management Proven experience in workforce development, stakeholder engagement, relationship management Experience identifying and tracking measurable outcomes from programs/initiatives Strong leadership and communication skills Strong presentation skills Familiarity with direct care provider systems and Medicaid/Medicare programs Ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams Must have reliable personal transportation and be willing to travel within Ohio Preferred Experience
