What You’d Do
Support and grow the strategic vision for the analytics function in New York that sets us apart from other agencies and can be shared across all VaynerMedia offices and the larger VaynerX family.
Collaborate with global analytics leads on creative- and strategy-insights initiatives, including cross-audience insights and creative-insight aggregation at scale (platform best practices, benchmarking).
Partner with agency leadership to stay ahead of client priorities, identify analytics opportunities in existing accounts, and ensure analytics and MarTech capabilities are woven into business-growth conversations.
Support standardized dashboarding and reporting across VaynerMedia New York clients in partnership with media leads and Tracer.
Build relationships with existing and prospective data, measurement, and marketing-technology partners, working closely with the Partnerships team.
Help manage and develop the New York Analytics team, ensuring career growth and continuous learning.
Lead high-risk/low-bandwidth experimentation across measurement, insights, and marketing-technology integrations.
Oversee capability and tool development as driven by client demand, including emerging MarTech.
Reinforce an analytics-first mindset across the larger media organization.
What You’ve Got
10+ years of experience in analytics within the media industry, with a proven track record of building measurement, reporting, and insights ecosystems that inform decision-making.
5–7 years of hands-on marketing-technology experience (e.g., CDPs, tag-management solutions, marketing-automation platforms, Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)—including evaluation, integration, and optimization.
Expertise in two or more advanced analytics methods: descriptive statistics, predictive modeling & machine learning, multi-touch attribution, MMM, cross-device measurement, A/B & multivariate testing, or incrementality testing.
Solid understanding of a broad range of online advertising channels (Search, Display, Email, Contextual, Social) and subject-matter expertise in at least one.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL on infrastructures such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or Google BigQuery.
Familiarity with third-party research partners (GfK, Nielsen, Comscore) and ad-verification tools (IAS, Moat, etc.).
Exceptional ability to translate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders—and to present confidently to executive-level clients.
Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and teams, with strong project-framework development skills.
Advanced written and presentation skills, able to command a room with gravitas.
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and adopt new analytics and marketing-technology techniques that benefit clients’ media strategies.
