This position is to support AOS business growth in AI power. This specific role will lead the system engineering effort for all AOS power module products. Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties
Responsible for the module design from concept to mass production release Work with cross functional team to ensure product performance, reliability and manufacturability New power module product developments including product definition, design, simulation, test, evaluation, qualification and release Interface with product lines, marketing engineers and customers to understand applications and contribute to architectural decisions of new products Generate design documents and product datasheet Lead and manage an innovative engineering team for product development Qualifications
Extensive experience in power conversion topologies, Power MOSFET devices, Magnetics, gate drivers Simulation experience in Maxwell, Q3D and Simplis during product development 5+ years of hands-on experience in power module design MSEE or Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics Strong DC/DC power converter (Buck, Boost, etc.) design and optimization experiences and skills Magnetic design and simulation, thermal analysis knowledge and experience *This position is eligible for paid time off and to participate in an annual bonus program.* Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, Inc is committed to diversity in our workplace.
