Broker I, Middle Market Practice

Aon . This mid-level role supports designing, marketing, and managing property insurance programs for large, global clients. You will analyze client exposures, help reduce risk, and coordinate the placement and daily management of accounts. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work 2-3 days from the Atlanta, GA office.
What The Day Will Look Like Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the property insurance marketplace, products and services, and develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters. Be responsible for all aspects of client service for the assigned book of business, including billing, policy collection, review and transmittal in accordance with departmental service standards. Retain and grow assigned clients/prospects. Compile submission information with appropriate external client contacts and internal Aon clients. Provide broking status and continuous support to clients throughout the broking process and engagement period. Demonstrate strong presentation skills (technical writing and verbal). Utilize effective negotiation skills. Understand the claims administration process and collaborate with the claims and legal advocacy group as per established protocols and guidance from senior team members. Drive use of available technology throughout the broking process and client service process. Replicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 3 years Property insurance experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to form relationships.
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience. A Property and Casualty Brokers License is required, or must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not already active.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $72,500-$96,600 annually. Actual salary depends on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geography. The range reflects a primary location of Atlanta, GA but may vary by location.
