Senior Vice President Influencer Strategist

FleishmanHillard, a global communications agency, has an opening for a Senior Vice President influencer strategist for our Brand Marketing practice. This position provides an opportunity for a passionate, proactive communications professional with strong influencer strategy to be part of a collaborative team across a range of clients and sectors. The ideal candidate will help execute best-in-class work across growing accounts and translate influencer relations strategies into integrated marketing communications programs, including activation online and offline with influencers of all types and tiers. The role involves working with integrated teams across the firm to use influence to meet client objectives and grow revenue. Qualifications 10-12+ years of integrated marketing and/or communications experience at an agency, including 6-8 years of hands-on influencer program strategy and execution. Demonstrated success in end-to-end influencer relations: identification, vetting, negotiation, creative and content direction, relationship management, measurement and analysis. Experience with influencer vetting and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Traackr, Talkwalker). Advanced integrated communications strategy development experience. Ability to move audiences from awareness to engagement to action across multiple platforms; understanding of owned, earned and paid media in integrated campaigns. Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach; ability to motivate and drive action across all levels of the organization. Excellent relationship-building, listening, and communication skills; ability to guide influencers and teams to produce high-performing content. Ability to scale influencer programs across audiences, platforms, and objectives; provide strategic counsel and lead development of integrated influencer campaigns. Understanding audience segmentation and how to customize programs for the consumer journey with multiple touchpoints. Experience planning and coordinating influencer-created content across a brand’s social and digital ecosystem; collaborating with third parties to execute. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative benchmarks to assess influence; advising clients on optimal influencer tiers and verticals using data. Experience activating influencers across platforms and spaces; understanding mutual value exchange in earned, sponsored, or experiential campaigns. Ability to negotiate contracts at all tiers, including high-investment agreements; understanding terms and conditions and usage rights; capable of managing contracting workflow with junior staff. Ability to analyze performance metrics; comfort with data-driven planning, ROI, and tools (e.g., Omni, Tagger). Understanding of social commerce and affiliate marketing; ability to develop strategic affiliate partnerships and negotiate influencer compensation models. Expertise in social media strategy and emerging platforms; ability to adapt programs to a changing influencer landscape. Experience with paid social programs and platform nuances (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) for influencer content amplification. New business development for organic and paid influencer growth opportunities; ability to engage with senior decision-makers and translate insights into aligned strategies. Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders; ability to sell influence within a sector while managing cross-functional teams. Organizational skills to manage influencer contracting, invoicing, data collection, and post-metric reporting; risk assessment across negotiations and regulatory considerations.
