This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of EHS Professionals, you will provide subject matter expertise to engineering and production resources related to EHS manufacturing and prototyping. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of safety and health compliance with local, state, and federal regulations at Headquarters and satellite locations including, but not limited to: OSHA, PSM, NFPA, and ANSI requirements. You will ensure environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including: NEPA, RCRA, SWPPP, SPCC, and NPDES. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities

Implements EHS programs for the evaluation and control of potential hazards including, but not limited to industrial hygiene; fall protection; confined space; lock out tag out; process safety management; hazard assessments; hearing conservation and noise hazards; heat stress; and environmental management. Performs a wide range of EHS consultation services, which includes planning, managing, and reporting the results of assessments. Provides subject matter expertise in design and test reviews. Provides support to incidents, including spills; injuries, hazardous operations; launches; hurricanes; and other emergencies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations at all Headquarter facilities. Prepare and submit reports to federal and state regulatory agencies as required. Continu continually update and ensure compliance with the Blue Origin processes and procedures. Indoctrinate new employees on our EHS Program. Assist in waste disposal activities including hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste, universal waste, and recycling materials. Contribute to the injury/illness and near miss reporting process. Develop, update, and deliver EHS training. Serve as site focal point for safety and environmental issues and concerns. Evaluate operations for continuous process improvement and implementation of preventive action measures. Support development of job hazard analyses and risk assessments. Provide subject matter expertise to engineering and production resources related to EHS. Provide EHS related input for building design and operations. Perform periodic audits of our Safety Programs. Minimum Qualifications

B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety. Knowledge and ability to use industrial hygiene tools and monitors. Expertise in writing technical reports. Knowledge of applicable OSHA, EPA and State of Washington regulations. Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods. Knowledge of incident/accident reporting practices, investigations, root cause / corrective action processes. Good analytical skills and attention to detail, technical writing, with an ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information. Candidate must be able to lift/carry up to fifty pounds. Must be able to physically climb multiple flights of stairs, withstand prolonged standing, and work in adverse weather conditions. Required

7+ years total work in EHS. 5+ years work experience in operational aerospace environment, manufacturing, or chemical industry. Preferred Qualifications

10+ years total work in EHS. 7+ years work experience in operational aerospace environment, manufacturing, or chemical industry. Expertise in Life Safety Code (NFPA 101). ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification. Special Mentions

Relocation provided. Travel expected up to 10% of the time. Shifts available: 1st Shift. Interviews will include a technical assessment. Compensation and Other Details
