The Senior Corporate Security Manager will report to the Associate Director, HQ Security Operations, and manages site security and response for the Eden Prairie/Minnetonka, MN campus — which includes Optum, UHC, and UHG headquarters sites. Responsibilities

Tactically enhancing and maintaining site security and emergency response protocols across assigned UHG campuses, ensuring the continual application of consistent security measures and policies Fostering a visible, in-person presence to cultivate trust and accessibility among all levels of personnel, from frontline employees to top executives, ensuring effective communication channels and approachability for addressing security concerns Collaborating with partners across the corporate security landscape, including the CSO, U.S. Security Operations, and Risk Management, to foster a cohesive team dynamic and ensure alignment of priorities Supporting the ongoing enhancement of protective services programs, including executive protection, event security, and special risk programs Developing and implementing policies and procedures aimed at enhancing daily safety of UHG property and employees Navigate high levels of ambiguity/uncertainty and make rapid critical decisions Acting as the alternate security liaison for executives, employees, and external security resources, establishing an efficient and cohesive security framework onsite Establishing and maintaining robust connections with local/state/federal law enforcement and other emergency services to facilitate informed decision-making and proactive measures Delivering security training and information to leaders and employees when necessary Providing leadership, complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and objective analysis as a tactical security advisor to the Senior Director Americas Operations on security and business risk Identifying and communicating business requirements related to employee and campus security for proposed short-term and long-term solutions Overseeing and driving integrated Corporate Security response to security incidents, threats and crises related to employees and critical infrastructure Developing, communicating, and implementing the overarching vision, strategy, and operational plans across the Americas Operations platform Measuring and communicating performance and effectiveness of the HQ Security Operations program using key indicators and data Creating an environment and culture that fosters inclusivity, belonging, innovation, participation, collaboration, and high-performing teams Setting a leadership example through positive behaviors, accountability, and servant leadership Role located on site at the Eden Prairie & Minnetonka, MN campus Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant security experience in the private and/or public sector, including security risk management, intelligence, law enforcement and/or military Experience leading and managing diverse teams and strategic platforms Strategy development and planning experience Experience developing and managing a security program Presentation and personal briefing experience Proven ability to use MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization Proven ability to deliver security training and information to leaders and employees across the organization Willingness or ability for after-hours on-call availability and up to 10% travel Work at the Eden Prairie & Minnetonka, MN campus locations Preferred Qualification: Demonstrated experience in managing complex security operations in a multinational organization and understanding of evolving global security risks Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (eligibility rules apply). Salary range for this role is $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
