Position Overview:
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking a skilled Application Developer 3 (.NET) to support modernization and accessibility compliance efforts for the Resource First Portal (RFP). The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development skills, experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), and familiarity with both monolithic and microservices architecture.
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work at least once a week, with the first two weeks fully on-site. Candidates must be current Pennsylvania residents to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, code, and test application components
Troubleshoot application issues and perform bug fixes
Upgrade existing applications to meet WCAG accessibility standards
Convert monolithic applications to microservices
Create and execute testing documentation
Utilize TFS for source control and versioning
Develop in Angular Framework
Document and present technical recommendations
Required Skills & Experience:
Microsoft .NET Framework (with MVC) – 3+ years
SQL Server 2016 or higher – 3+ years
SSRS – 1+ year
Microsoft TFS or similar tool – 1+ year
Angular Framework – 1+ year
Microservices – 1+ year
ASP.NET – 1+ year
C#.NET – 1+ year
