Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer experience? Providing companionship to terminally ill hospice patients in a nursing facility setting could be the right fit for you! Many of our hospice patients have little to no family or friends that live locally. You can help fill that void by providing friendly visits one time a week around your schedule. Reading to a patient, sharing a laugh and holding a hand are just a few of the things our companionship volunteers can do with patients. These visits are not only impactful for the patients, but our volunteers report feeling profoundly uplifted by the experience.
