Food Pantry Volunteers

The Mitzvah Food Program Northeast pantry, located at the Kleinlife community center, is seeking volunteers to join us in a variety of capacities at all different levels of commitment. Our state-of-the-art pantry serves over 1,000 households a month and we are seeking people to help with: -Packing grocery delivery bags on Tuesday evenings from 3 - 6 pm. -Delivering grocery bags to clients who aren’t able to come to our pantry hours -Touchscreen tablets (think iPads) -Administrative roles We are open Monday through Friday while currently our greatest needs are Tuesdays from 3-6 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3-4 pm, Fridays 10 am -12 pm. Opportunities are flexible and we would love to work with you around your schedule!
