R&R Construction, a well-established site contractor, founded in 1960 and experts in excavation is seeking a safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator with utility installation, earthwork and general site construction experience to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record operating excavators, dozers and/or loaders in a variety of site conditions, including mass excavation, fine grading and utility work .

Heavy Equipment OperatorResponsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders on job sites.
Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material movement as required.
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
Adhere strictly to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Communicate clearly with supervisors, site managers, and other team members.
Identify and report mechanical issues promptly.
Assist with general labor tasks when needed to support the crew.
Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:
3-5 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Proficient in the operation of excavators, dozers and /or loaders.
Experience with Trimble GPS or similar a plus.
Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong understanding of job site safety practices.
Must be able to pass a physical, drug test and background check .
