Role Overview:
As a Residential Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction planning through to completion—for multiple residential builds and renovations in the DC metro area. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of residential construction projects (new builds & renovations)
- Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Oversee site progress and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and transparency
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in residential construction
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting in DC
- Proven track record of delivering residential projects on time and within budget
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
