Project Engineer - Electrical Systems
Location: Wexford, PA | Travel: ~25% | Company Car Provided
Opportunity available to join a team focused on projects related to electric melting and boosting technologies for the glass manufacturing industry. Looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with experience in industrial power distribution with a background in electrical project coordination and design.
Essential Duties Support the design and execution of low voltage power distribution systems Read, edit, and update electrical drawings (no transformer or switchgear design) Create and review single-line diagrams, load schedules, and cable plans Develop scopes of work, material specs, and support construction estimates Supervise field installations and electrical contractors Travel to client sites (about 25%) for short trips-typically days, not weeks Provide on-site project commissioning and field support Your Background
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems Associate's degree or higher in a technical field; BS in Electrical Engineering preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD (2010 or later) Familiarity with arc flash labeling, load/capacity/fault studies, and current code Strong communication and project coordination skills Experience with electric boosting, glass melting, or industrial furnace systems is a plus
