Evening Warehouse Loader
Join our team as a Warehouse Loader, a physically demanding role where you'll play a key part in ensuring our operations run smoothly. This position involves hand-building pallets of products for bulk and route trucks, with a strong focus on accuracy in loading and unloading tasks. You'll work from an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift or electronic pallet jack. Attention to detail is crucial to comply with shipper and receiver documentation while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Transporting truck loads by moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto trailers and managing incoming pallets and plastic flats.
Loading bulk trucks with designated packages and flavors, ensuring pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping.
Preparing route trucks by customizing orders based on salespersons' requests and efficiently unloading returned products.
This position requires lifting cases of products ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift. Expect a fast-paced environment that demands constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping as you handle product movement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate power pallet jacks or forklifts to assemble pallets according to load sheets or audio picking systems.
Document out-of-stock items on load tickets.
Wrap completed pallets and load them into trucks as required.
Ensure all paperwork is accurate and confirm truck readiness before loading.
Complete partial pallets and manage mixed pallets.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in your work area.
Exhibit regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
