This position is vital for the success of our retail teams. Customer Service Specialists interact with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. You will also address customer concerns promptly to ensure the highest level of satisfaction while staying updated on product features. Your efforts will help us maintain high quality and visual standards in the store, all while achieving sales goals.
Job responsibilities involve direct customer contact, which may include minors; as well as access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, and other valuable items. Therefore, a review of criminal history is essential to ensure the safety of our customers, employees, and the integrity of our operations.
The selected candidate will work at stores within a 10-mile radius of store # 704376, located at 6650 Santa Barbara Rd. Elkridge, MD 21075.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure high customer satisfaction through outstanding service. Assist customers in person and over the phone, understanding their needs and recommending products and services. Build trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process transactions in line with policies. Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain organized work order files. Retrieve and prepare products for customers. Tint and mix products to meet specifications. Restock shelves and create attractive displays. Maintain cleanliness of store equipment. Help load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable. Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and communicate options effectively. Follow inventory control procedures. Propose improvements to sales strategies. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. Valid, unrestricted Driver's License required. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Availability to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. At least one year of experience in retail or customer service. Experience selling paint or paint-related products is a plus. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are advantageous.
