Join Our Team as an Assistant Store Leader!
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Store Leader to support our store operations and enhance the customer experience. In this role, you will be actively engaged in day-to-day activities, team development, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Here are the responsibilities you will take on:
Assist in the efficient operation of the store and daily activities.
Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
Help manage the flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring seasonal displays are well-maintained.
Participate in opening and closing store procedures as necessary.
Ensure compliance with corporate directives and maintain effective communication regarding store activities.
Optimize promotional displays and store-front fixtures to enhance visual appeal.
Support ordering processes, manage inventory records, handle damaged goods, and oversee cash register operations.
Maintain a well-organized stockroom and a fully stocked sales floor that meets company standards.
Safeguard company assets, including cash and inventory.
Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies among all store associates.
Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional interactions with customers, team members, and management.
Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restocking restroom supplies, cleaning, and waste management.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with the ability to interpret and explain operational directives.
Previous experience in retail management is advantageous.
Physical capability to lift up to 55 lbs and meet the demands of a physically active role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy team environment.
Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
