Position Summary

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the dependability and performance of systems and products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves the application of engineering principles and techniques to design, test, and maintain reliable systems. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be tasked with identifying potential risks, performing root cause analysis of failures, and implementing effective solutions to mitigate these risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that reliability is built into products from the early stages of development through to their operational use. Your efforts will help to reduce manufacturing downtime, enhance maintenance efforts, and improve overall manufacturing performance.

Job Responsibilities Perform reliability analysis and modeling to predict system performance. Develop and implement reliability test plans. Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). Monitor system performance and identify reliability issues. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve product reliability. Develop and refine maintenance strategies. Perform root cause analysis of system failures Provide technical guidance and training to other team members. Develop and maintain reliability metrics and reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Analyzing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends. Conducting root cause analysis to determine the underlying cause of problems. Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures. Designing and implementing new procedures for monitoring and testing equipment. Finding new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability. Developing and implementing training programs for employees. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization. Experience Requirements

Experience with statistical analysis software (i.e. MiniTab) Experience in conducting reliability testing and validation. Knowledge of reliability prediction software tools. Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 9001, 21CFR 211, cGMP Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proven experience in reliability engineering or a similar role. Strong understanding of reliability principles and methodologies. Proficient in reliability analysis and modeling techniques. Experience with failure analysis and reliability testing. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong project management capabilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) is required. Master's degree in Engineering, Reliability, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Additional certification(s) such as:

Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) - preferred Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) - a plus Maintenance & Reliability Certifications (e.g., CMRP, CMRT) - advantageous
