In this vital role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan aimed at securing substantial financial support for the organization's initiatives. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic guidance to the CEO, identifying and engaging new donors, and managing the grant application process effectively. As the VP of Development and Marketing Strategy, you will also lead the marketing and communications efforts, ensuring a robust brand presence and cohesive messaging across all channels. Key responsibilities encompass activating networks, fostering donor relationships, and utilizing data analysis to measure the effectiveness of fundraising and community initiatives. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years' experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, or business development. A proven track record in digital fundraising. A commitment to reshaping public education and a profound understanding of philanthropy and marketing trends within the education, nonprofit, political, and advocacy sectors. Ability to think strategically, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and build meaningful relationships. A collaborative mindset to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent storytelling abilities with proficiency in leveraging marketing tools to engage donors and partners. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
