JOB SUMMARY Reporting directly to an assigned manager or director, responsible for analyzing, defining, and creating technological solutions for specific hardware and/or software to solve business problems and meet user and organizational needs. Level I of III in Analysts.
* Two vacant positions are available in the Courts & Justice specialized assignment. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Performs technical analysis of applicable data to produce products and solutions to resolve technology-related business problems Provides technical consulting and support services as needed Assists with developing alternative workflow solutions by analyzing and testing new or existing procedures Performs routine to moderately complex computer systems and server environment analysis work to ensure stable systems for all users throughout the County Analyzes and defines business processes associated with system enhancements Participates in designing and maintaining system configuration and setup Works as part of a team to procure and implement major systems or upgrades to existing applications and systems Attends all meetings and trainings, as required Performs special duties as assigned Specialized Assignments (in addition to the duties above): Courts & Justice
Supports applications used by judicial users and office staff at county facilities Provides hardware and software assistance related to Judicial Court Management, Jail Inmate Management, Jail Medical Services, Clerk Case Management and Constable Services Creates documentation for IT and end users Interfaces with vendor support on issues Specializes in Prosecutor business processes, administration and CJIS reporting requirements Acts as Project Manager for new system implementations Prepares and performs training of Justice applications for specialized departments Performs Server Administration for all Justice application servers and multiple environments Performs SQL database management for all Justice applications Performs SQL script development for data analytics Develops and supports scripts for data extracts to external applications / agencies and ad hoc reporting as requested Supports complex integration points between internal and external systems Reviews and provides support for issues reported through ServiceNow Responsible for configuring, supporting, testing and maintaining all Justice Application ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to - An assigned manager or director Direct Reports - No PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, visual examination of documents, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, standing and occasional lifting/carrying ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned environment Regular travel between work sites as required IRREGULAR HOURS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Vocational/technical diploma or certificate and two (2) years of job-related experience; OR three (3) years of job-related experience Working knowledge of specific job-related technology LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
