Senior Project Manager and/or General Manager Summary:

As a Project Manager your main responsibility is to lead mid-to-large-scale commercial projects by overseeing schedules, budgets, project financials, and client engagement. Responsibilities/Duties: Organize and lead multiple, mid-to-large-scale commercial projects simultaneously Manage overall project financials, including developing and maintaining financial projections Update monthly project costs in accounting system (Computer Ease) Identify cost codes, approve invoices, create monthly billings and manage budgets Manage accounting billings, change orders, and maintain schedules Create and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project Manage contract creation in AIA and contract buyouts Create and review estimates during preconstruction and construction phases of projects Maintain trade partner, subcontractors, and supplier budgets; select partners and suppliers Collaborate with Project Coordinator to execute RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc. Team with Project Superintendent to execute all construction phases, including site visits Manage exemplary standards of quality, risk, safety, and compliance on and offsite Participate in business development initiatives to maintain and promote high-contact client relationships Attend meetings and training as assigned Complete projects as assigned Train and mentor new employees and be an ambassador of Catalyst Construction

Requirements:

3-5 years project management experience within construction management; commercial experience Associate or bachelors degree in construction management, civil or architectural engineering , but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and all safety regulations Advanced level understanding of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Building Connect, and other PM software Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Demonstrates high level of Emotional Intelligence when dealing with all levels of the company and clients Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day Occasionally may need to travel and visit sites during inclement weather Reliable transportation
