Program Summary:
Brown Family House is in need of a Front Desk Ambassador to manage the front desk. Front Desk Ambassadors represent the first point of contact at Brown Family House. Front Desk Ambassador's provide general reception services and office support by greeting and assisting visitors, answering the phone, and assisting with residents’ requests. Key responsibilities: Greet and welcome residents, guests, and visitors Provide administrative and clerical support to 2Life staff General reception services by answering the telephone, answering questions, and handle all incoming packages Enforce building rules and building security, as directed by staff Impact Goal:
To provide a welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and visitors. Qualifications: Good communication skills, a good problem solver, and organized Comfortable enforcing rules of the building and ensuring building security General computer proficiency and phone skills Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, Cantonese, or Mandarin preferred but not required Time Commitment/Schedule:
4-6 hours per week during normal business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm). Volunteer must commit to at least 3 months and keep a regular schedule.
