The Christmas Office Assistant provides Christmas seasonal office support, including serving as the initial contact for persons seeking assistance as well as answering phones, directing visitors, accepting donations, pulling files and computer data entry.
About the role:
Provides information to callers and visitors, and answers questions, about Salvation Army programs and services, as well as other community resources.
Assists clients seeking services and provides them with the necessary forms.
Performs timely and accurate data entry.
Receives donations at front desk, and coordinates donation pickups.
Schedules volunteers for bellringing
Generates bell-ringing reports from the Register to Ring database when needed.
Makes copies as requested; maintains clean and inviting reception area.
Drives to kettle sites for support when needed.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Previous administrative support experience Certifications: Valid Wisconsin driver's license with approval to drive from TSA insurance The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
