Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Travel Sonographer – Cardiac | Batesville, AR Start Date: 9/22/2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Type: Days Shift Times: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Hours/Week: 40 guaranteed Weekend Requirements: Every Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On Call Requirements: 1 weekday night Position Overview: The Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality cardiac and vascular diagnostic exams and procedures according to physician orders. This role requires efficiency, strong technical skills, and collaboration with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff to ensure accurate and timely patient care. Equipment in Use: 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine Vasculab ABI machine Key Duties: Perform echocardiograms and vascular studies including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous/arterial dopplers, carotid dopplers, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams. Start IVs and administer Definity contrast as required. Assist physicians with radiology procedures and maintain cooperative interdepartmental relationships. Maintain accurate records, equipment cleanliness, and supply inventory. Participate in safety, infection control, and departmental meetings.
