About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a strong emphasis on strategic growth. This vital position will focus on harnessing valuable insights about our customers and businesses, and implementing high-level strategies aimed at digital growth. Our CMO will be instrumental in assisting vibrant consumer brands, especially in the wellness, beauty, and lifestyle sectors, to overcome growth obstacles and scale efficiently in digital spaces.
The CMO will take the lead in refining and synchronizing direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth strategies with overall commercial objectives. Collaboration with founders and internal teams will be key to identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities. The CMO will also provide thought leadership on marketing strategy evolutions and enhancements within the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of proven experience in consumer marketing, ideally at the VP or CMO level, with demonstrated success in driving growth in DTC channels, particularly within the U.S. market. Responsibilities include guiding strategic priorities for growth initiatives, contributing insights into media and creative strategies, and ensuring that all decisions are deeply rooted in customer insights and business impact.
This role also requires enabling team success, acting as a senior advisor, and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership across all initiatives. The right candidate will be highly strategic, commercially savvy, and possess strong communication skills, approaching leadership with collaboration and humility. Experience in retail go-to-market strategies or U.S. omni-channel brand development, along with familiarity working with or advising agencies or external growth partners, is highly desirable.
