Truck Driver Job at Rapid Equipment in Box Elder

Job Duties Include:

• Driving long distances to deliver goods.
• Load and unload equipment in a professional and safe manner.
• Loading & unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Record Cargo pick up and deliveries.
• Verifying loads for accuracy.
• Report road incidents to General Manager.
• Follow traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Inspect vehicles and record issues, including mechanical and safety problems.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Retain fuel/toll receipts for submission.
• Report defects, accidents or violations in a timely manner to General Manager.
• Plan and execute routes using GPS or AVL system.
• Maintain appropriate and timely schedule with communication to General Manager.
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
• Miscellaneous yard work.

Job Requirements & Qualifications Include:

• Class A CDL to keep it up to date without any expiration periods.
• Must have clean driving record and provide motor vehicle record.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test.
• Pallet Jack or forklift experience preferred.
• 21 years of age or older
• At least 6 months of On The Road (OTR) experience preferred.
