We have partnered with a fully integrated, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the acquisition, development, and commercialization of innovative treatments for B-cell diseases. Alongside a robust research pipeline featuring multiple investigational medicines, we have received approvals from both the US FDA and the EU EMA for a product that treats multiple sclerosis.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientific Data Analyst to help shape and expand our Analytical Data Science team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing best practices for data intake, analysis, and visualization while driving innovation in data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background in biopharmaceutical assays, advanced expertise in data science and visualization, and a proven track record of building robust analytical data workflows from intake to insight.
Technical and Scientific Expertise
- Contribute to the development and strategic direction of the Analytical Data Science team by shaping its vision, priorities, and roadmap.
- Establish and implement best practices for data intake, analysis, visualization, and insight generation to support informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote robust, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Design and develop scalable infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows for analytical data management, automation, and visualization, tailored to the company's stage of growth.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and writing skills including proficiency in Excel are required.
- Expertise in analytical assays used for mAbs.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, multivariate analysis, and data visualization.
- Expertise in creation of robust data pipelines.
- Proven experience leading scientific data initiatives, setting up workflows, and implementing computational tools.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools for scientific applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Track record of collaborating with cross-functional scientific teams and influencing data-driven decision-making.
- Previous experience building and leading a scientific data team in a biopharmaceutical company.
- Experience with GMP/GxP-regulated environments and regulatory submission requirements.
- Strong understanding of mAb developability, stability assessments, and CQAs (Critical Quality Attributes).
