Job Description

• Develop and manage preconstruction budgets, schedules, and project scopes for retail construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to evaluate project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and analyze construction documents to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project outcomes.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.
• Coordinate bid packages and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders to align on project expectations and deliverables.
• Monitor and report on preconstruction progress to senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum required - bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum required - Ten (10) years estimating experience.
• A strong understanding of preconstruction processes and retail construction projects.
• Proficiency in analyzing construction documents, budgets, and schedules.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction software and tools to streamline preconstruction activities.
