We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Support Technician to join our Tech Services team. If you are a tech-savvy professional with a deep understanding of IT systems and a knack for problem-solving, we want to talk to you. You will be responsible for providing technical support and consulting services to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in areas such as Firewalls, Exchange, Remote Desktop Troubleshooting, Troubleshooting, Hardware, MDM, and Networking. In addition, you must have excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and ensure their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and consulting services to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
2. Maintain and monitor client networks, servers, and systems.
3. Implement and manage firewall and security configurations to protect client data and ensure network stability.
4. Utilize remote desktop troubleshooting to resolve client issues efficiently and effectively.
5. Manage mobile devices using MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools and ensure their effective operation within the client's network.
6. Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed.
7. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent customer service.
8. Collaborate with the IT team to develop strategies and plans for improving client services and IT infrastructure.
9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
10. Provide training and guidance to clients on how to use their IT systems and software effectively.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Support Technician or a similar role in the Tech Services industry.
2. Proven experience with Firewalls, Exchange, Remote Desktop Troubleshooting, Troubleshooting, Hardware, MDM, and Networking.
3. Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
4. Excellent customer service skills with a knack for communicating technical information effectively to non-technical people.
5. In-depth knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
6. Familiarity with IT security and data privacy principles.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant professional certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: IT Professional) are a plus.
