Happy Egg is growing fast, and we are looking for a Layer Service Technician in the Springfield, MO area who’s passionate about supporting current and future Happy Growers raise Happy Hens successfully. As an egg company, taking care of our contract growers and the hens they care for is critical to our business! While we’re known for the best tasting eggs on the planet, we wouldn’t be successful without healthy, thriving farms to provide our supply.

What You’ll Do: Collaborative Support:
Work with vertical integration, live production, and compliance teams to aid commercial layer growers and activities. Happy Egg Expertise:
Master Happy Egg grower and farm standards, effectively communicating them to new and existing growers. Careful Compliance:
Deeply understand Happy Egg farm standards, certifications, and grower guidelines to ensure hen welfare aligns with values and policies. Optimal Conditions:
Assist contract growers in maintaining ideal conditions for hens and egg production, covering aspects like feeding, lighting, and temperature. Data-Driven Insights:
Analyze data, offer recommendations to enhance animal wellbeing, and collaborate on barn readiness for smooth flock transfers.
What You’ll Bring to the Table: Expertise and Experience:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in poultry science or a related field, or have a minimum of two years' experience in commercial layer operations. Location Flexibility:
Reside within a 50-mile radius of Springfield, MO or be open to relocating within the region for the role. Driving and Screening:
Hold a valid driver's license (Commercial Driver's License not required) and successfully clear pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Analytical Autonomy:
Demonstrate the ability to analyze data, draw meaningful conclusions, and translate insights into effective actions while operating autonomously in the field with minimal supervision. Values and Relationships:
