Director of Strategic Forecasting

to lead our most critical forecasting efforts and unlock the insights that shape the future of our business. You’ll own the end-to-end in-year and long-range forecasting process for key growth and revenue drivers—think member growth, purchase and deposit volumes, and intramonth momentum tracking. This is a role built for a strategic thinker who’s ready to bring storytelling, clarity, and structure to some of Chime’s most important financial conversations.

You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and finance, partnering closely with teams across Finance, Data Science, Analytics, Investor Relations, Product, Marketing. Your work will directly support how we communicate our story externally and how we make decisions internally. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $198,990.00 and up to $281,900.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. What You\'ll Own

Lead in-year and long-range forecasting for core business metrics like User/Member growth, Purchase Volume, and Deposit Volume Help evolve tools, dashboards, and frameworks that scale Chime’s forecasting and analytics as we mature toward public company readiness Run intramonth pacing and scenario modeling to enable real-time visibility and agile decision-making Lead finance analytics support for Unit Economics, LTV, CAC, and help evolve how we define and measure profitability. Support the development of unit economic frameworks to evaluate the ROI of various products, features, and business strategies and guide Chime’s decision-making What We\'re Looking For

8–12 years of experience in Forecasting, Finance analytics—ideally with time spent in fintech, payments, or consumer financial services A proven track record of owning forecasts and delivering decision-driving insights to senior leadership Comfort navigating between the 30,000-foot view and the weeds—you\'re as excited about building models as you are about debating the strategy they inform Strong storytelling and communication skills—you know how to make data resonate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike SQL and spreadsheet fluency; familiarity with tools like Looker, Tableau, or Pigment is a bonus Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills; building financial models and ad-hoc analyses should come naturally Passion for digging into the details and moving quickly at a hyper-growth fintech A natural curiosity to think critically, to ask questions, and desire to evolve our business Strong background leading a team through positive change and impact A Little About Us At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
