Center Director (Oneonta - SUCO)

Center Director Head Start (https://ofoinc.org/find-program/home-based-and-preschool-programs) is seeking a creative, organized individual to lead a preschool teaching team and oversee operations of a multi-classroom center. As Center Director you will: Hire, train, supervise and evaluate assigned center staff

Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and Head Start Program Performance Standard

Facilitate communication and teamwork at the center

Collaborate with the Head Start management team, program specialists, parents, and other community partners

Schedule staff, volunteers, and bus routes

Supervise students and volunteers

This position has school breaks and summers off. This position has a PENDING HIRE Qualifications: Bachelors degree in early childhood education, or a related field; two years teaching experience; two years supervisory experience; valid, unrestricted New York State driver's license.
