Overview
Reporting to the Director of Outlets and Outlet Manager, every day is different, but youll mostly: Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests, ensuring attentive, polished, and courteous service at all times. Maintain clean and organized workstations that align with the restaurants philosophy, culture and standards of excellence. Identify areas for staff and restaurant improvement and offer positive solutions for change. Operate within the restaurant with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative. Understand all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs. Understand the philosophy of management and owner; display consistent attention to detail and follow-through of all policies. Represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication and relationships with all business partners. Comply with all applicable health, safety and labor regulations. Bussing of used items at tables; removal of trash; use of trolleys/carts for table side service. What we need from you
Understand and perform job duties per the Regent Santa Monica Beach and the restaurant Service, Food, Beverage and Wine manuals. Perform all side work applicable to the assigned station. Participate in Pre-Shift meetings and learn new menu items. Welcome all guests and ensure they receive responsive, professional and gracious service. Describe dinner features as needed (including changes and additions). Answer questions about the menu, wine list or other guest inquiries. Coordinate with servers to communicate guest wants and needs; understand orders and any menu changes, dietary restrictions or allergies. Assist the Chef in expediting food to the dining room; stay aware of upcoming orders and table status. Keep the expediter station and kitchen stocked with essential items throughout service. Ensure all food and products are prepared and served to the restaurants standards. Maintain a clean, safe environment in the Dining Room and all service stations. The hourly pay rate for this role is
$10.00 plus tips . Note: The company may pay more or less than the posted range; compensation and bonuses are discretionary and may change.
