About the Role
We are seeking a
talented and passionate Mechanical Designer II
to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing
innovative and impactful design solutions
that improve the lives of our clients. Working closely with project engineers and cross-disciplinary team members, you will help transform concepts into practical, efficient, and user-friendly designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and draft
mechanical and plumbing systems
including: Ductwork, piping, sanitary systems, domestic water, medical gas Compressed air, natural gas, and water heating systems
Collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate design concepts. Assess design feasibility with respect to
safety, functionality, and serviceability . Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and construction documents using
Revit . Coordinate intermittent submissions and collaborate with other disciplines for integrated designs. Conduct
field investigations and site visits
to ensure project accuracy. Determine optimal routing and sizing of systems for efficiency. Utilize
CAD and engineering software
to support design work. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited). Experience:
4+ years as a Mechanical Designer (Healthcare experience required). Licensure:
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (preferred). Technical Skills: Revit, AutoCAD MEP MS Office Suite Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D
Travel:
Up to 10%, depending on project needs.
